Classes run on a monthly basis. You can start anytime - even in the middle of a month. Your first two weeks are free.

Downtown Atkins in the legion hall: 89 Main Ave
What are the age groups?
Tae Kwon Do 7 and up
Hapkido 14 and up
Arnis 16 and up
Note: Arnis is offered in Atkins only
What is the cost?
All equipment is discounted, there are no contracts and there are no "Start Up Fees".
Tuition varies by location (due to rent differences)
Cedar Rapids: $20/month - $40/8 week session
Cedar Rapids Rec Center: FREE to Rec Center members
Atkins: $20/month for 1 style, $10 additional for each extra style. Family discounts: $20/month for first student, $10/month for additional students.
Test Fees: White to Rec. Black Belt test fees are $15, this includes a certificate and new belt.
What days does the tuition cover?
Tuition covers your primary location, and any make-up class at the alternate location if you choose.
Cedar Rapids students may attend Atkins regularly at no additional cost if they choose. (space permitting)
There is no additional cost for Master's Class.
What is your experience level? Are you a qualified instructor?
I am a 6th degree black belt and certified senior master instructor in Tae Kwon Do. I have over 20 years of experience, and have been involved in teaching for over 10 years.
I am a 5th degree black belt in Hapkido and a certified master instructor.
